How Weiman Inspect The Display Window Glass?


In Weiman, we are not only arrange visual and dimensional inspection for each unit of display window glass but also:

Thermal tempering we will arrange for particle test and IK(drop ball) test.

Chemical strengthening we will test hardness and its CS/DOL.

Paint test:

Coating test:

To AR(Anti reflection), we will test different light transmittance in different spectral bands and adhesion.

To AG(Anti glare), we will test light transmittance(VLT), haze and roughness(Ra) to see if the final effect can meet customer’s expect.

To AF(Anti fingerprint), we will test the coating effect under water angle test and durability by rubber test.

How We Can Bond The Display Window Glass Into Our Device?


Since the display window glass is protection guard of LCD / OLED screen, it should be bonded to the screen front.

Usually our customer will request us offer tape adhesion surface including:

Adhesion transfer tape, it’s the most regular way to offered base on different thicknesses(Like 467Mp with 0.05mm).

VHB tape, for color / waterproof requirement.

OCA tape, it’s a kind of fully transparent optical tape fully bond to the screen surface like protector on phone.
