What’s The Materials Applied For Bespoke Tempered Glass?

Since the glass belongs to near distance view+back light, which higher quality grade in need.

In market there are 2 kinds of glass:

One is soda lime glass in lower cost and hardness 6H(After chemical tempered), and the brand we usually use Japan AGC glass.

Another kind is aluminosilicate glass, but domestic and oversea brands have different cost.

Better hardness 8H(After chemical tempered), optional brands like gorilla glass, Panda, Dragon Tail etc.

Customization Options for bespoke tempered glass

We work closely with clients to meet precise requirements. Below are our key customization parameters:

Silk-Screen Colors: Black, gray, white, or custom colors.

Glass Materials: Gorilla Glass, AGC, Dragontrail, Panda Glass, or other brands upon request.

Thickness Options: 0.4mm–6.0mm (multiple standard sizes available).

Shapes: Square, round, or fully custom shapes based on your drawings.

Edge Finishing: Straight, rounded, beveled, or stepped edges; polished or CNC-ground.

Surface Treatments: AG (anti-glare), AF (anti-fingerprint), AR (anti-reflective) coatings.

AR means anti reflection by electroplating base on different spectral bands, single side increase 3-4% light transittance and double sides up to 99% at most.

AF with 2 kinds of methods including electroplating(costly but more durable) and spray(cheaper but less durable), it can also protect the AR coating from easy peel off.

AG means anti glare to scatter the ambient light and sun light from glare.

Holes & Cutouts: Drilling and special cutouts supported.

Tolerance: Precision machining with ±0.05mm accuracy.

Packaging: Secure wrapping with paper interlayers, Kraft paper, and plywood cases.

Shipping: Express air freight or sea shipping, depending on order size.

What’s The Tempering Process?

The tempering process refers to chemical strengthened and thermal tempered 2 kinds of processes.

To chemical strengthened, it usually applied for the glass thickness 3.0mm below with excellent flatness and hardness.

To thermal tempering, it usually applied for the glass thickness 3.0mm above and belongs to safety glass, when break it becomes particles.
