AF Coated Glass
We manufacture custom AF Coated Glass for touchscreens, electronic displays, consumer electronics, automotive interfaces and other applications where fingerprint resistance and easy surface cleaning are important.
AF, or Anti-Fingerprint, treatment is designed to provide a surface with improved resistance to fingerprints, oils and everyday contamination. The coating can be applied to customized glass substrates according to the optical, mechanical and surface requirements of the final product.
Glass dimensions, thickness, shape, CNC holes and cutouts, edge processing, silk screen printing and strengthening can be customized according to customer drawings. AR or AG treatments can also be evaluated when multiple surface-performance requirements need to be combined.
What Is AF Coated Glass?
AF Coated Glass is glass treated with an anti-fingerprint surface coating designed to reduce the adhesion of fingerprints, oils and other everyday contaminants.
AF treatment is particularly useful for touchscreens and frequently handled glass surfaces. The surface properties can make fingerprints less noticeable and help make routine cleaning easier.
