US Customer inquires soda lime glass camera lens protector

We are pleased to shared inquiry from a new US customer about demand for custom camera lens protectors and currently under sample stage.

Project overview & technical specifications

Materials: 2 kinds(soda lime glass & aluminosilicate)

To soda lime glass, it’s a kind of cost effectiveness option.

To aluminosilicate glass, better optical and hardness option.

Purpose: To serve as a durable protective cover for camera lenses, which provides scratch resistance and impact protection without sacrifice image quality.

Adhesive: The glass protect needs an AB adhesive(Optically clear adhesive) for bubble free bonding to camera module, which ensures high light transmittance and minimal optical distortion.

Current Status: Sampling Stage

Our engineering team is currently producing initial samples for the customer, which focus on:

1.Precision cutting & tolerance: Ensure the glass cut into exact specifications to fit perfectly the customer’s camera module design.

2.Optical bonding: Apply and test the AB adhesive to make sure a strong optical clear bond to eliminate air gaps and maintains high transmittance(Meet standards≥89%).

3.Durability & Clarity: Confirm the glass meets required hardness and scratch resistance standard(Up to 5.5H surface hardness) while optical clarity kept.
