The screen glass applied on electronic device as front of screen.

Weiman Tech is a professional glass OEM, will only source electronic grade glass and different brands base on customers’ requirements.

During production, we will need CNC to pledge the glass sizes and shapes in correctly, tolerance in ±0.05mm.

AG(Anti glare) Treatment

For outdoor / darkness environment, eye protection will be extremely important to avoid harm / danger.

LCD screen glass uses AG(anti glare, click here for more information) treatment to scatter the lights, which allow the light to the eye under indirect way, better eye protection.

AG treatment has different level like transmittance, haze, gloss for different application scenarios.

Weiman Tech can offer free stock samples for selection.

In market, there are several regular options to allow glass surface matte, but each has their advantages and disadvantages:

Sandblast, it uses machine and material by sand to blast glass surface for matte purpose, the advantage is cost lower but disadvantage is lower quality in uniformity.

Frost ink, it only suitable in thicker glass for thermal tempered because it belongs to high temperature(ceramic) ink.

Acid-etching, it’s the most close to AG way and cheaper than AG, but it’s a problem there’ll be shiny dot when lit on.

AG, it’s higher cost but it’s the most perfect way to use in electronic screen under long time treatment, which good surface quality + texture.

To Weiman Tech, we will confirm AG parameters(transparency, haze, gloss) with you first, if it’s not available we could offer stock samples in different grade for verification.

After confirm, we will base the AG effect base on agreement.
