The ultrasonic cleaning machines, also callled ultrasonic cleaner.
This device employs ultrasonic waves to effectively clean the surfaces of various objects.
It is widely utilized for cleaning items such as glasses, jewelry, dentures, tableware, and razors.
Principle
Ultrasonic waves are sound waves with frequencies beyond the range of human hearing, typically above 20 kHz.
Because sound waves travel much less effectively through air than through liquids, ultrasonic cleaning relies on liquids such as water as a medium.
For this reason, ultrasonic cleaning machines are designed with a water tank to hold the objects and contain the liquid.
When ultrasonic waves vibrate through the water, they create cavitation, producing countless microscopic bubbles.
These bubbles rapidly collapse, generating instantaneous high-pressure shock waves.
This process, driven by ultrasonic vibrations, effectively dislodges and removes dirt from the surfaces of objects.

Ultrasonic cleaning is a highly efficient process that utilizes high-frequency sound waves (typically 20–40 kHz) to agitate a liquid medium, resulting in thorough cleaning. The technology is widely employed across industries due to its ability to remove contaminants from intricate surfaces with precision.

Ultrasonic cleaners vary significantly in size, ranging from compact desktop units with capacities below 0.5 liters (0.13 US gal) to large industrial systems capable of holding up to 1,000 liters (260 US gal).
Working Principle
The cleaning process begins when the ultrasonic generator converts electrical energy into high-frequency sound waves. These waves are transmitted through a transducer, which transforms them into mechanical vibrations. The vibrations propagate through the walls of the cleaning tank into the liquid, creating microscopic bubbles that undergo rapid formation and collapse (a phenomenon known as cavitation). This intense agitation dislodges dirt, grease, and other contaminants from the surfaces of submerged objects.
Cleaning Duration
The cleaning time varies depending on the object’s material, complexity, and level of contamination. While some items can be cleaned in minutes, others may require more than 30 minutes for complete purification.
